- Groupe VR experience

A total of 6 people participated in the event
Each person’s participation time is less than 10 minutes.
Because it is a group activity, in one person in the experience, can not share pictures and stories with others, there will be a sense of time oppression, unable to concentrate, basically, They wanted to end it after a short experience.
Then I change to a one-on-one experience
2. One to one VR experience

The event invited six elderly people, two of whom had poor cognitive conditions, to refuse to experience VR.
The other four elderly people took an active part in the event and experienced VR travel, and they were surprised that they didn’t choose their hometown, but chose the place where they had traveled or wanted to travel. One chose to go to Hawaii, one chose to go to the Forbidden City in China. One went to Africa and the other to Portugal. One of the old people liked something new, not only experiencing VR travel, but also trying VR painting. After a 30-minute experience, she said she would love to spend more time trying and practicing later. The rest of the elderly experience time is about 15 to 20 minutes. Virtual worlds can grab their attention instantaneously, pointing fingers at trees, people, cars, buildings, and so on.
They enjoy the process, but wearing it for long periods of time can still cause head discomfort and a slight dizziness
3. Music activities
Music events nursing home elderly people are very willing to participate, for most of the elderly, can not focus for a long time, they enjoy the average time in 2-3 song length. Some of them fall asleep. Some will sing along.
4. Music + touching(Playtronica)
This activity is to link different fruits to the current and make a sound when people touch the fruit. Old people like this kind of activity very much, participatory, can communicate with each other. but the activity can put some stress on older people with cognitive impairments, some of who don’t understand what they’re doing, and who apologizes for not being able to distinguish between fruits. But for older people with good cognitive performance, it’s clear that they spend more time focused than they do on VR travel. The amount of time you spend participating and watching others add up to more than an hour.
